We're currently in the process of migrating WarcraftRealms.com to a new webserver. As such, if you find the site down temporarily, that is what is happening. It shouldn't take more than 24 hours for everything to be back to normal though!
If you find things that are not working properly, please let me know!

June 2008 Concurrency Numbers - Fri Jul 04, 2008 6:00 am - Rollie
I have calculated the June concurrency numbers provided by the CensusPlus UI Addon.
June continues to show declines in player activity, with a noticeably sharper drop in EU concurrency. I'll need to do a little research to make sure this is not due to even fewer EU submissions.
US numbers were fairly flat. With Arena Season 4 hitting at the end of the month, we'll have to see how the numbers play out in July to know if it was enough to get more folks back in the game.
At this point, as far as we know, there really isn't anything left other than what we already have to keep folks playing until Wrath of the Lich King comes out. It would also appear the beta for WOTLK is imminent which will also negatively impact player numbers on the live servers as folks will take the opportunity to play on the beta servers. We'll get beta servers up and running on WarcraftRealms as soon as we are able and allowed to.
We continue to be light on submissions for several realms so help is greatly appreciated! Even 1 person can make a significant contribution, and all help is appreciated. To see if your realms is one of the less covered, check out the Most Wanted page!

May 2008 Concurrency Numbers - Wed Jun 18, 2008 6:54 am - Rollie
It's that time of the month again and we have calculated the May concurrency numbers provided by the CensusPlus UI Addon.
May continued to show a decline in concurrent player activity, which is not unexpected. With Sunwell having been opened a few weeks now, Age of Conan having been released, and a couple of weeks yet before Arena Season 4 debuts, there isn't much to keep many players coming back for more.
With Season 4 coming out soon, I would expect to see a bit of an uptick, and we'll see if it is enough to level out the inevitable decline as more people log on less due to summer and content stagnation.
After Season 4, there is nothing in view to keep folks playing until Wrath of the Lich King is released later this year. With the glut of upcoming MMO's, it will be interesting to see how many players stick it out and aren't stolen away to other games.

CensusPlus 4.1.8 and KillingFields 0.12 Released - Wed Jun 18, 2008 6:41 am - Rollie
In an ongoing effort to provide the most stable and easy to use mods, I have new versions of both CensusPlus and WR_KillingFields.

This new version of CensusPlus primarily addresses concerns of strange crash behavior when in battlegrounds and a census is in progress. Being unable to determine the source of the crash, I have enabled code in CensusPlus that will disable census taking while in a battleground.

This new KillingFields release addresses some issues of incorrectly capturing battleground data. This one should be much more reliable in capturing all battleground info.
In addition, a new section has been added to the website, the WarcraftRealms.com Battlegrounds Top Ten.
Top Ten
This page will detail Top Battleground winners from data submitted to WarcraftRealms.com. Expect new contests featuring this content to come shortly, as well as expanded stats such as Battlegroup Horde vs. Alliance trends over time. Data is broken down into overall, monthly, and level brackets. Be the top in your bracket to submit data!
