I was trying to help on some of your PST PVE most wanted, but I am now getting an upload failure that looks like this:

IP: 173.55.111.164
Germany
File error! Could not save file!

I have no idea about Germany, Im in California. It also mentions killing fields but I didn't load that. Is there a fix? Nuke teh file and start over?

I'm having the same issue..

IP: 118.x.x.x
France
File error! Could not save file!

I'm located in Australia, not France. And the IP listed in the error is my IP address. If you need the full IP address, just let me know. (mods/admins of this site should be able to get it from this post however Razz)

I have the latest install of the Census+ mod and am selecting the correct file for upload. I am also not running behind any proxies, vpn's or anything to mask/change my ip address. I have also tried in both IE 8 and FireFox 3.6.8 and have the same results.

I have tried deleting the file and re-doing, as well as uninstalling and re-installing the mod. No change - still getting this error.

The IP doesn't matter, it's been documented that they're old IP tables.

What is important is that the site isn't taking updates.

Has anyone tried using UniUploader?

UniUploader is working fine atm so either it's fixed itself or it's a website-only issue - can't test the website since my files are too large atm but will prune later and give it a shot if I remember.

Ok, it's just before noon, Pacific Time on 7/31. This time it went through. I guess something was changed with the upload earlier this week that was changed back. I'll repost if it happens again. Smile

Rollie had the site down for a bit this morning, might have been a side effect of a small change, as usually is the case.

I had some trouble with that file error too, but after a few attempts, the file in the middle was successfully submitted... now it however seems to have misprocessed, as it produced 0s and is stuck in E status. Sad

Rollie, I am guessing you are very busy, but if you have any time at all, could you take a peek at that? Thank you!

Nothing wrong in setup.. The data is processed, but values are not incrementing on the site..

Well, guess whatever Rollie did this morning (server time?) must have resolved whatever was causing the problem. I'm now able to upload via the website once again. It still says I'm from France.. lolz.. but I can and will ignore that as it uploads the file properly Very Happy

Sounds like you're not logged in then. Which isn't a UniUploader problem, since I am logged in and am getting credit for my submissions (I only use UniUploader for my uploads) - make sure you've correctly set it up with your username and password.

What does the "Server Response" tab say when you do an upload? Mine says:

Yours should be similar, if it doesn't mention your username, you need to set that and your password up in Uniuploader.

I know but you never responded to me asking about the server response tab, which is what would tell you where the issue is. Can't help you if you don't provide relevant information, but just keep blaming an app which works perfectly for everyone else using it...

Actually, it was *you* that never replied..

You asked for Server Response 21/6-10, 1:30(ish)..

Nope, you quoted Debugger, not Server Reponse, I'm still waiting for your server reponse. I don't understand the debugging stuff, it's gobbledegook to me, server reponse is plain and easy to understand. I quoted above an example of what it should look like, yours is quite clearly not the same thing.

Edit, ok, upon looking closer, you quoted the first two lines of Server Reponse, which is no help to anybody - I missed that because it was so short and completely missed the relevant part. Scroll down and quote the entire thing (it has quite a large gap so only the first two lines are visible in the window, but the useful stuff is further down).

NO! I didn't quote the first two lines of Server Response.. I quoted ENTIRE Server Response (except for two characters, which the forum filters out)..

There wasn't anything else in that window.. There was no scroll-bar in the right side (which normally indicate more content) and cursor couldn't scroll further than what I've quoted..
The text was marked for copy/paste with Ctrl-A that marks EVERYTHING in a window..

If you can think of other ways of checking for additional content, please say so..

One thing that comes to mind: I think you mentioned that you use an older version of UniUpload..
I wouldn't be surprised if upload-server isn't updated to support the version I use..

Hmm ok, that is strange then - perhaps it is about the different versions, because it most certainly should have a lot more than that showing. I quoted what mine shows above - skipped those first 2 lines because the forum messes them up, but all of what I quoted should appear below those lines. Can't really understand why it's not showing anything at all.

Just to doublecheck - above the window the text appear in, are buttons, for Notepad, IE etc - if you click one of them, it'll open a separate window with the entire contents in - I used the Notepad one to get my quote above. Can you give that a try, just in case there's any more which isn't showing initially?

Now I did put the login/password correctly, and it recognised my username but not the login. Hmm.

Tried again and now it's moaning about an error in SQL syntax, think I've heard of that one if you do more than one upload in 15 mins (though I didn't even get logged in so why it should care, who knows), will try again in a bit then!
